I was born on the same day as the Queen and the foundation of Rome, though a few years later than both...
I was brought up by a wonderfully loving nurse/childminder and a superbly patient teacher in Carlisle, renowned for being not quite in Scotland nor the Lake District. Now I live in Durham, which is further from both Scotland and the Lake District, but nevertheless is equally pleasant. I have some great brothers and sisters here.
I studied really old people at university, and enjoyed it so much I did some more of it. One day might become a doctor.
I love the sea and the snow, reading books and watching films about other people's adventures, and having my own.
In 2006 I started a new adventure, I wish I could fully explain it, but sometimes words aren't enough.
That's why I like writing songs.
